Kristy Ramos

Kristy Ramos was born and raised in New York City. She spent the last several years of her adolescence in the twin cities of Minnesota. At age 16, she had no choice but to raise herself. She discovered her own willpower, resilience, and the importance of self-love and self-respect from this experience. She was the first deaf homecoming queen at her mainstream school. She was also a spokesperson for that school and spent four straight years on the Honor Roll list.
She was a trailblazer in her family as she was the first to obtain both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She found her love for traveling worldwide at age 18. To this date, she has traveled to over 26 countries and has been to three continents. She also lived in another country and taught art & history at a Deaf school.
She has met so many amazing people in the world. She has inspired and motivated thousands to live their dreams and achieve their goals through her story, wisdom, guidance, tips, and tools.
In addition, her experience as a counselor, disability advocate, teacher, director, entrepreneur, and business owner has allowed her to implement programs and services to serve the diverse population worldwide. She knew being a certified life coach was her calling.

I am honored to write this testimonial for my dear friend Kristy Ramos as she embarks on her journey to become a life coach. I have known Kristy for 15 years and in that time, I have been continuously impressed and inspired by the passion and grit that she shows for anything that she sets her mind to, ranging from completing college as a first-generation student and serving as the director of a nationwide program, to working toward financial independence and a healthy lifestyle.
Kristy also has a natural talent for connecting with people from all walks of life, to empathize with their experiences, and to empower them to see their own potential.
